“I’m going to do the best I can with what I have, and I hope I can encourage others to do the same thing with their life.”
—Amberley Snyder, Barrel Racer

Amberley Snyder won the all around world barrel racing title at just age 18. But just one year later, she was told she would never walk or ride again, after a horrifying auto accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. But Amberley wasn't willing to simply accept that prognosis, and it wasn’t long before she was strapping herself into the saddle and competing at rodeos again – including RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN in 2015!

Amberley’s courage and determination have been an inspiration to all who have heard her story – and that story recently reached an even wider audience, thanks to the Netflix movie “Walk. Ride. Rodeo.”

"I'm going to do the best I can with what I have,” Amberley said in a recent NBC News interview, “and I hope I can encourage others to do the same thing with their life.”

Rodeo New York is thrilled to have this uniquely courageous barrel racer as one of our celebrity invitee contestants!
